How do I save a place?
Open PinDrop and tap the floating pin button, or tap the PinDrop widget on your Home Screen. The app captures your current location and prompts you for a name. You can type the name or use the microphone button to speak it.
How do I add the Home Screen widget?
iOS: Long-press an empty area on your Home Screen → tap the + button in the top corner → search for "PinDrop" → choose a size and tap Add Widget.
Android: Long-press an empty area on your Home Screen → tap Widgets → find PinDrop → drag it onto the screen.
Does voice labeling work offline?
Voice labeling uses your phone's built-in speech recognition. On recent iPhones and many Android devices it works offline; on older hardware it may require an internet connection. If voice input is unavailable for your device or language, the microphone button is hidden automatically and you can still type names.
How does cloud sync work?
When you sign in with your Google account, every place you save is stored in your personal cloud database and synced to every device you sign in on. Sync is included with PinDrop Pro. If you sign out, your pins stay safe in the cloud — sign back in on any device to see them again.
Why does PinDrop need my location?
PinDrop only reads your location at the instant you tap to save a place. We use it once to record where you are, then discard it. We do not track you, we do not run in the background, and we do not collect a location history. Your saved pins only contain the coordinates you chose to save.
Can I delete a pin?
Yes. Swipe left on any pin in your list to delete it, or tap it and use the delete action. Deletions sync across your devices instantly.
How do I manage my subscription?
iOS: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → PinDrop.
Android: Open the Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PinDrop.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro features until then.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google, not by PinDrop. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com for App Store refunds, or Google Play → Account → Order history for Play Store refunds. If something's genuinely gone wrong on our side, email us and we'll help you through it.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Uninstalling removes the app from your device. Your saved pins remain in your cloud account — if you reinstall and sign back in, they come right back. Your subscription status is tied to your Apple ID or Google account and is unaffected by uninstalling.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
Email us at developer@canburaktumer.com from the address associated with your account and we'll permanently delete your account and all saved pins within 30 days. We'll confirm by email when it's done.
The widget is grey or not showing the icon.
iOS sometimes caches widget snapshots. Try removing the widget from your Home Screen, deleting the app, reinstalling, and adding the widget again. If the problem persists, email us with your iOS version and device model and we'll look into it.
