Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the PromptPocket mobile application (the "App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use it. PromptPocket is provided by Canburak Tumer ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.

1. What we collect

1.1 Information you provide

Account data — your email address and (optionally) your display name when you create an account, or your Apple identity token if you sign in with Apple.
User content — the prompts, categories, tags, and notes you create inside the App.
Subscription data — purchase receipts and entitlement state related to your Pro subscription.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

Usage signals — counts of how often a prompt has been copied or used, used internally for features such as the weekly summary notification and "most-used" sorting. Stored on your device and in your account.
Device data — basic technical data needed to deliver push notifications (Apple Push Notification token) and to operate the app.

1.3 Information we do NOT collect

We do not run third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We do not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
We do not read other apps' clipboard contents.

2. How we use information

To provide the core features of the App (storing prompts, syncing across your devices, organising by category).
To authenticate you and protect your account.
To process subscription purchases and unlock Pro features for users with an active entitlement.
To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g. weekly summaries). You can disable notifications at any time from iOS Settings.
To debug crashes and improve reliability.

3. Service providers (sub-processors)

The App relies on the following third-party services. They process limited data on our behalf:

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not control how Apple processes purchase information.

4. Data storage and transfers

Data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which may be located in the United States or other countries where Google operates. By using the App you consent to this transfer. Industry-standard encryption protects data in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to:

Access a copy of your data.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and associated content.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Port your data to another service.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the App, or by emailing us. Account deletion permanently removes your prompts, categories, and account record from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete the account.

7. Security

We use Firebase Security Rules to ensure each user can only read and write their own data. We use TLS for all network communication. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

8. Changes to this Policy

If we make material changes to this Policy we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
